The Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) remains a cornerstone in safeguarding fairness, integrity, and due process within Kenya’s sporting landscape. As the body responsible for adjudicating doping-related disputes, the SDT plays a vital role in ensuring that cases are handled independently, fairly, and in line with the World Anti-Doping Code and international best practices.

Led by ADAK Ag.CEO Ms. Peninah Wahome, SDT Acting Chairperson Hon. Allan Mola, SDT CEO Dr. Leah W. Kaburu, CAS Arbitrator Mr. John Ohaga SC (former SDT Chairman) and Ms. Njeri Onyango SC Chairperson of the Continental Results Management Panel, ADAK held a capacity-building workshop for members of the SDT. The session provided deeper insight into ADAK’s procedures and strengthened the Tribunal’s understanding of the technical and legal aspects involved in athlete case hearings.

The workshop further underscored the importance of continued collaboration between ADAK and the SDT in building a robust, transparent, and harmonized anti-doping system. Through such partnerships, Kenya continues to strengthen its commitment to clean sport, credible adjudication, and preparedness for the implementation of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code.
