Stakeholder Engagement in the Reviewed Strategic Plan (2023–2027)

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) is a statutory body established under Section 5 of the Anti-Doping Act, 2016. The Agency’s mandate is structured around the following three foundational pillars designed to ensure compliance with the World Anti- Doping Code while fostering a culture of integrity within the Kenyan sporting fraternity: to carry out the fight against Doping in Sports through anti-doping values-based education, sensitization, and awareness campaigns; to protect the ‘clean athlete’ by carrying out effective doping tests among all Kenyan athletes; and to uphold the integrity of sport through Intelligence Gathering, Investigations, and Results Management of Anti-Doping Rules Violations (ADRVs).
Articles 10, 118, and 196 of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya mandate public participation as a core principle of governance, requiring the state to involve citizens in legislation, policy-making, and administrative decisions. In fulfillment of its responsibility under Section 5 of the Anti-Doping Act 2016 and the 2010 Constitution, the Agency reviewed its Strategic Plan (2023-2027) and developed a Mid-Term Review Report.
The Agency invites you, as a key stakeholder, to provide input to enhance the Report. Please feel free to submit your comments/input to info@adak.or.ke, preferably by 4th May 2026.
