Ms. Loyce Chepchumba Bett is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2009, with over fifteen years of post-admission experience in litigation, legal advisory, and public sector legal administration. She currently serves as Deputy Chief State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice, where she has contributed for over fourteen years to the provision of legal and policy advisory services to the State, advancing the rule of law, good governance, and effective public service.
Prior to joining the public sector, Ms. Bett practiced as an Associate Advocate at P.K. Njoroge & Co. Advocates, where she gained valuable experience in litigation and client advisory services.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Moi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management. She has further enhanced her leadership and governance capacity through completion of the Senior Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) and the Senior Management Course (SMC) at the Kenya School of Government.
As a Board Member, Ms. Bett brings a strong blend of legal expertise, governance insight, and principled leadership. She contributes to statutory compliance, policy development, dispute resolution, and institutional oversight, supporting ADAK in upholding integrity, fairness, and accountability in sports administration in Kenya. Her professional commitment and dedication to justice continue to make a meaningful impact within the legal fraternity and the broader public service.
Ms Loyce serves in the ARMC Audit Committee and Strategy Planning and Governance Board Committee.
