The substances and methods\u00a0on the List are\u00a0classified by different\u00a0categories (such as steroids, stimulants, or gene doping).<\/p>\n<p>An athlete may be permitted to use a prohibited substance or method for medical reasons, if they obtain a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/adak.or.ke\/dev1.0\/tue\/\">Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Prohibited List is updated annually following an extensive consultation process facilitated by WADA.
