The Agency has put in place elaborate programs aimed at creating awareness on Anti-doping issues to all stakeholders in Kenya through effective information sharing and education programs.
\nThese programs are aimed at fostering anti-doping behavior and creating a strong anti-doping culture in the country.<\/p>\n
Information sharing programs<\/strong><\/p>\n Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n These are organized with an aim of providing athletes and other key stakeholders with accurate and up to date information on the following areas.<\/p>\n Outreach programs<\/strong><\/p>\n These are awareness and sensitization campaigns organized for athletes and other key stakeholders during major national and and\/or county sports competitions\/championships.<\/p>\n Our outreach programs are interactive and allows participants to ask questions to our experienced educators.<\/p>\n Key stakeholders for information sharing programs are;<\/p>\n Values Based Education program <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The directorate organizes sporting activities aimed at promoting and inculcating \u2018Spirit of Sport\u2019 values among the young and upcoming athletes of ages below 16 years. The activities are carried out during school holidays and\/or weekends. This target group is still in its formative stages hence to influence positively.\u00a0\u00a0The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya is also partnering with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development to mainstream Values Based Anti-Doping Education in the schools\u2019 curricula.<\/p>\n \u2018Spirit of Sport\u2019 values include<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n
